Dining on Bonaire
|
|
Bonaire offers quite a bit of dining selection
being that it is a very small island. Casablanca is one of our
favorite places. The photo to the right shows the "mixed grill for
two". It is enough to feed an army! We had leftovers for
days! |

Stiflers is a new restaurant located downtown near the Cultimara
grocery store. We thought the food was very good and the prices
were very reasonable. We split the "party grill" and we still had
leftovers. |
 |
We had lunch at Buddy Dive one afternoon. The restaurant is located on
a small bluff overlooking the water. The food was decent and the location
was great. |
|
Last time we came to Bonaire we were unimpressed with Karel's bar on
the water because we had a margarita, which wasn't very good. This
time we stuck with Amstel's and Karel's ended up being one of our
favorite places. The location is perfect for watching the sunset
each evening. |

Happy hour is from 5 -7. During that time you can sip on two
Amstel's for $3.75 NAF (About $2 USD) Great deal and an even
better sunset! |
 |
 |
|
On Friday night, there was a mariachi band playing at Karel's during
sunset. |
