Puerto Vallarta sits on the Bay of Banderas in Jalisco, Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is a great "tourist" town but it retains its charm as "authentic". Although you will see areas that house large mega resorts, the downtown Puerto Vallarta area maintains the old world Mexican charm. Puerto Vallarta also has great "day trips" to such places as Mismaloya and Punta Mita. |
