Cheap Things to Do in
Vancouver |
|
One of our favorite things to do in Vancouver
was to walk around downtown by the cruise ship terminal. There is
a wide variety of shops and restaurants. |

There are bears everywhere? We had a hard
time keeping track of them all. I think these are the bears that
Al Gore talks about leaving the Arctic because of Global Warming. |
|
The harbor area is very scenic. This picture
was taken down near Stanley Park. Vancouver is such a clean and
beautiful city. The air was so fresh. |

I liked this guy. Here he is, living in a
houseboat amongst all of the million dollar yachts. |
|
Vancouver also has a pretty decent transportation
system. We took the Aqua Bus to Granville Island and the science
center. The fare was only a few dollars Canadian and it was a hoot
traveling around the island in a boat. |

One of the big tourist attractions here is to rent
a seaplane and go to Victoria Island. We didn't have time but
thought it might be something we would consider next time. |

Vancouver also has a pretty decent size Chinatown.
Chinatown is within walking distance of the cruise port and downtown. |
|

If you have the time you should treat yourself to
some beautiful gardens by visiting the Sun Yat Sen park. It will
cost you a few bucks to get inside, but the grounds are beautiful. |
