Stanley Park Vancouver

Stanley Park is a beautiful park that is within easy walking distance from downtown Vancouver.  The park offers numerous bike trails and attractions.

One of the more "touristy" stops in Stanley Park is the totem poles.  When we arrived at 9:00 AM there were already numerous tour buses in the parking lot.

This is the famous "girl in a wet suit" statue that sits out on a large rock.

In the background you can see the world famous Lion's Gate bridge.

Also in the park is the Vancouver Aquarium.  We liked the aquarium but it was totally packed the day we visited.  We just happen to hit their "50th Birthday Party" so I think it was busier than normal.

One of the cool exhibits was the Beluga Whale show.  And when I say cool, I mean "cool".  Look at those poor people in the first row!

Stanley Park also offers one of the most scenic views of the city.
